Below are results for core services as identified by the unit.  Each chart shows mean scores for each of seven questions.  The seven questions include an overall question and performance in specific customer service areas.  Each question was rated on a scale from extremely unsatisfied to extremely satisfied.

  • Global Travel Security Management: Information for UW students, faculty, and staff about health, safety, and security abroad, including overseas insurance options and coverage, the UW Travel Registry, and emergency planning and assistance
  • International Agreements and Delegation Visits: Support for academic units exploring or engaged in partnerships with non-US universities, government agencies, and NGOs. Assistance with planning for visits by international delegations
  • UW Study Abroad: Partners with faculty, program providers, and universities for international study, research, and internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Offers advising, orientation, scholarships, and support for students; resources and assistance to faculty

Global Affairs Heard You!

In response to survey results, here are a few of the improvements Global Affairs is pursuing:

  • Implementing new or enhanced online tools and resources:
    • Study abroad program proposal tool 
    • Credit evaluation process 
    • Grade reporting 
    • Additional forms and requests 
  • Documentation for delegation and travel support 
  • Transforming the study abroad scholarship process and eliminating a secondary application process
  • Enhancing outreach to campus partners regarding the Global Travel Security Management program 
These changes should benefit customers and campus partners by:  
  • Reducing administrative burden and improving efficiency and transparency
  • Allowing better online access to our services
  • Increasing awareness of our programs and services
